Treatment Partnerships and Medical Support
The Care We Connect You To
At Solstice Recovery, we do not provide medical or clinical services directly. Instead, we connect residents with trusted providers throughout Los Angeles. Through our partnerships with outpatient programs, detox centers, therapists, and medication management specialists, residents gain access to professional care while living in a safe, structured sober living environment.
When a resident needs an outpatient program, a therapist, a detox bed, or a prescriber, we know who to call, and we make the introduction. That is what a treatment partnership actually is, and it is worth a great deal.
Outpatient Program Referrals in Los Angeles
Many residents attend a partial hospitalization program or an intensive outpatient program while living with us. The two fit well together: clinical work during the day and a structured sober home to return to at night.
Programs We Know and Trust
We refer to IOPs across the Westside and greater Los Angeles that we have worked with over the years. We know how they run, how they treat people, and which ones tend to be a good fit for which residents. If one is not right for you, we will say so and suggest another.
A Schedule That Accommodates Treatment
House expectations are built to work around outpatient attendance. Morning, afternoon, and evening programs are available in Los Angeles, and residents choose the schedule that fits their work and meetings. We will help you think through the logistics before you commit to a program.
Getting There
We provide Uber rides to PHP and IOP appointments. If you cannot get to a program reliably, it won't help, so we take that off the table before it becomes a problem.
Rides to Treatment and Meetings
Transportation is one of the quietest reasons people fall out of treatment. Residents may take Ubers to PHP and IOP appointments, and an Uber once a day to AA meetings.
Detox Referrals
Some people need medically supervised withdrawal before sober living is appropriate. That is a medical service, and it happens somewhere else.
When Detox Comes First
If you are still using and physically dependent, sober living is not the right first step. Withdrawal from alcohol and benzodiazepines in particular can be dangerous without medical supervision. We will tell you plainly if we think you need detox before moving in, and we will refer you to facilities we know.
A Bed When You Finish
People often go to detox worried about where they land afterward. If you are coming to us, we hold that conversation open while you are there. Detox discharge planners can reach us directly to sort out timing.
The Move In
Leaving detox is a vulnerable few days. We keep the move-in simple: you know what to bring, what the house expects, and who will meet you at the door. Nothing about the first day should be a surprise.
Therapist Referrals on the Westside
Therapist Referrals on the Westside
Sober living gives you structure and community. It does not give you therapy. For most people, both matter.
Individual Therapy
We keep an active list of therapists across the Westside who work with people in recovery and understand what early sobriety actually involves. Trauma, depression, anxiety, and grief are common reasons residents seek out therapy, and finding someone who fits takes more than one name.
We will give you a few options rather than one. What you talk about, and whether it is working, stays between you and your therapist.
Family and Couples Therapy
Addiction damages the people around it. Rebuilding those relationships often needs a third party in the room. We can point families toward therapists who do this work, whether the family lives nearby or joins remotely.
Support That Continues After You Leave
A therapeutic relationship built during your stay does not end when you move out. That continuity is one of the most useful things you can carry into independent living.
Medication and Provider Referrals
Residents manage their own medication. We are not a licensed facility, and we do not store, dispense, monitor, or administer anything.
Psychiatric Medication
Plenty of residents take medication for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or other conditions, and they keep working with their own prescriber. Mental health treatment and addiction recovery go together, and nobody at Solstice will suggest otherwise or push anyone to come off medication.
If you need a psychiatrist or prescriber, we can refer you to providers on the Westside who work with people in recovery.
Medication-Assisted Treatment
Residents on Suboxone, methadone, or Vivitrol are welcome. MAT is evidence-based care for opioid use disorder, and we treat it that way. Residents keep their own clinic relationships and appointments, and we make sure house policy doesn't get in the way.
House Policy Supports Your Care
Our role is practical. Curfews and house expectations should never be the reason someone misses an appointment or runs out of a prescription, and we build around that. Beyond that, your medical care is between you and your providers.
Structure Here, Clinical Care Where It Belongs
This works because everybody stays in their lane. Your treatment providers handle your treatment. We handle the house, the accountability, and the community you come home to.
Solstice Recovery runs three sober living homes on the Los Angeles Westside, in Culver City, Venice, and Brentwood. If you are trying to figure out what level of care you need, call and talk it through. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit and where else to look if we are not.
