Who We Are

Who Solstice Recovery 2 Is Built For

Our Venice home is for residents 18 and older who are serious about staying sober and ready for a structured, peer-supported house. Most residents arrive along one of a few paths:

Stepping down from inpatient treatment or detox
Finishing or currently enrolled in an intensive outpatient program
Early in recovery and needing structure and community to stay on track
Wanting to build a recovery routine around being outside and active
Coming off a relapse and wanting a firmer foundation this time

Solstice Recovery 2 is not a treatment center, a detox, or a hospital. We are a sober living home built on peer support, the 12 Steps, and day-to-day accountability. When a resident needs clinical care, we refer them to providers we trust across Los Angeles.

What Makes the Venice Home Different

All three Solstice homes run the same way. Same house rules, same weekly testing, same live-in house manager, same amenities. What differs is where you wake up.

Venice puts residents inside one of the strongest recovery communities in Los Angeles. The Venice Recovery Center runs meetings every day of the week; there are open-air meetings near the water, and Marina del Rey, Mar Vista, and Santa Monica are all a few minutes out when someone wants a different room.

It also makes it easy to build a routine around being outside. The beach path, the rec centers, and the bike path are all part of how residents here structure a day, and for a lot of people in early recovery that turns out to matter as much as the meetings do.

Culver City is the central one, closest to the studios and the Metro E Line. Brentwood is the quiet one, tucked against the mountains, and it has the jacuzzi. If you are not sure which home fits, call, and we will talk it through honestly. Sometimes we recommend one of the other two.

Why Venice for Sober Living?

Few places in Los Angeles put as much within walking distance as Venice does: the ocean, a deep and welcoming recovery community, work, and open space all sit close together. The blocks around Solstice Recovery 2 remain residential and easy to navigate on foot, giving residents room to recover without feeling cut off from the life happening around them.

Safe, Walkable Neighborhood

Solstice Recovery 2 sits on a quiet residential stretch of Grand View Boulevard, with grocery stores, cafes, and everyday essentials within walking distance. The Venice Canals, the beach path, and Ocean Front Walk are all a short drive or bus ride west, close enough to be part of a resident's routine without the noise of living on top of the boardwalk.

Getting Around the Westside

Metro and Big Blue Bus routes along Lincoln, Venice, and Main tie the neighborhood into the rest of the Westside. A resident without a car can still reach work, outpatient appointments, therapy, and meetings throughout Santa Monica, Marina del Rey, Mar Vista, Culver City, and West LA.

What to Expect at Solstice Recovery 2

Solstice Recovery 2 operates as a peer-led sober living home with an on-site house manager. It is not a treatment center or a detox, and it does not pretend to be; the home's strength comes from community, accountability, and the 12 Steps rather than in-house clinical services.

What a resident finds here is a drug-free home, the steadying presence of residents further along and just behind you in recovery, a direct line to professional care when needed, and a comfortable place to live.
